The grounds - recognised as significant by Australia's Open Gardens Scheme - "feature majestic trees, towering hedges, wisteria arbors, banks of lavender, espaliered fruit trees, and ornamental ponds." There's even an in-ground, olympic-sized, trampoline!

The famous Daylesford Mill Market is just a short walk away, and the bustling foodie heart of the town is only a brisk walk along the road. Beautiful Daylesford Lake is also within walking distance. 

Tasma House Daylesford is great for groups, clubs, girls weekends, workshops, retreats, training sessions, gatherings, intimate weddings involving up-to 20 people, as well as for 40th/50th/60th-and-beyond birthday celebrations.   




Despite its proximity to Daylesford attractions, however, Tasma House Daylesford feels quiet and secluded. The main house provides accommodation featuring five bedrooms, two separate lounges (one with a baby grand piano), both with large flat screen LCD TVs with DVD players, two bathrooms - one with bathshower over, another with walk-in shower, the historic kitchen/meeting area and a large kitchen with dining area which is suitable for running workshops or group activities.

Hydronic heating operates in the main house. Tasma House Daylesford has a commercial espresso machine in the kitchen, free wireless internet access, and laundry access.

Tasma House Daylesford includes three separate garden bungalow rooms allow sleeping for up to eight guests. There are six single beds and one double bed in these garden bungalow rooms which are situated about five metres from the main house and surrounded by terraces, courtyards and the tea garden.

Tasma House Daylesford is for the exclusive use of the group in residence.

There are a number of great country halls in the region, with local bus and taxi services to assist in getting people safely to and from venues. Tasma House Daylesford is ideal for a bride’s and/or groom’s extended family to stay together. For w

Driving Options:

Option 1 -- Take the Calder Highway out of Melbourne and follow the signs to Bendigo BUT turn left at Woodend (there are two exits so if you miss the first turn off you get a second chance).  Woodend is approximately 50 minutes from Melbourne.  It is approximately 40 minutes drive from Woodend to Daylesford and is well signposted.  

Option 2 -- Come up over the Westgate Bridge -- take the Western Highway and turn left at the Ballan turnOff.  Pay attention when you see the McDonald's and BP Servo at the top of the hill (approximately 60 minutes from the Westgate Bridge).  The Daylesford turnOff is minutes past McDonald's -- IF YOU MISS THE TURNOFF it will add 40 minutes to your journey.  Ballan to Daylesford is a 30-minute drive and is well signposted.
